Motor Sports Management

The McLarens group and its senior management has a deep rooted passion for motor sports and the Group has proved itself a key player in motor racing sponsorship and organizing race events through Asian Motor Racing Club, the only motor sports club that organizes overseas racing and training. Adding to this, McLarens own the Pannala International Racetrack, the only purpose built track in Sri Lanka which is built to match the international FIA standards and is capable of accommodating nearly 12,000 spectators.

The Annual Formula McLarens Speed Championships, the premier race event organized by the group, consistently makes headlines as being the most anticipated and tightly contested racing series on Sri Lanka’s motor sports calendar. Living up to the expectations of the spectators, a fleet of 50 race cars— 20 McLarens Formulas, 20 Ford formula and 10 purpose built Altos which are all owned and managed by the company— competes against each other for the championship.

Food & Beverages

McLaren’s strategic expansion into the F&B sector of Sri Lanka is a recent development and is an indication of the Group’s hunger to venture into new horizons. Forming partnerships with some of the largest F&B franchises in the globe, McLarens is aggressively venturing into the F&B market of Sri Lanka.

ICT and Sustainable Energy

McLarens has forayed into the field of ICT by making strategic investments into digitization of the current services and also adopted disruptive innovation as a means of expanding into new sectors. With a focus on e-commerce in the field of shipping and expanding into other related sectors, McLarens is ready to leverage on the booming IT industry in Sri Lanka.
